This Saturday, April 29, the People's Climate March is surrounding the White House in Washington and filling streets in towns and cities across the country.
In Portland, the Climate March starts at noon at Dawson Park, N. Stanton and Williams. OPAL and partners in the Oregon Just Transition Alliance are calling on Oregon's environmental justice communities and anyone who stands with people of color and low-income people to join the movements for racial, social, and economic justice as pathways to climate action.
In Denver, the gathering starts at 10am at Civic Center Park. Join a collection of advocacy groups in Colorado demanding action to address climate change and to lead the country in developing clean, renewable energy jobs.
