"Counter Culture" Book Launch

Congratulations to brother Polo (Ronault S. Catalani) on the publication of his book "Counter Culture," a collection of essays depicting the experiences of immigrants in our Portland.

Polo is a long-time columnist for "The Asian Reporter" and has been a well-known advocate for immigrant and refugee communities. The book launch party, held at the Center of Intercultural Organizing's office in NE Killingsworth, drew a large crowd of Asian, African, Arab, Persian, Mexican, and Anglo community elders, activists, and
business leaders.

Memento - Embracing the Darkness

Dennis "Dizzy" Doan Stories about overcoming and persevering through family dysfunction, poverty, and mental health challenges offer hope and the promise of better days. Enlighten Me
